and vehicles are involved, so use with caution. You can speed up the line by holding it forward and jump with the jump key at any time (just be careful with the drop!) Hitting anything solid on the line will also take you off the line, including trees, players, etc.
#Rust console update series
Once at the top, you can use the Zipline to move along a series of powerlines or to another platform to reach nearby monuments. To reach the zipline, you’ll have to climb to the top of the new platform which is attached to some powerlines. Powerlines has been upgraded this month, with the new platform and ziplines now visible in procedurally generated maps. In the near future, you can expect above ground movable trains. Please report any strange looking areas you may encounter. This is just a technical test/proof of concept for now, so it doesn’t have any official gameplay elements yet. The first iteration of the procedural rail network is now live! Any map size 4250 or larger must have a single railway that is in the shape of a ring running around the entire island.
#Rust console update update

Meanwhile, only a small number of bug fixes have been released in the console version of Rust today. Rust players have been warned that they will need to climb to the top of these structures in order to use these structures, so there will be some danger involved when trying to move across the map. Meanwhile, FacePunch has made it possible to traverse the map using powerlines, complete with new platforms to use them. Trains aren’t born with it, but gamers can try it out using other non-built vehicles if they know the correct codes.
Facepunch hasn’t released the final version of this system yet, which means some components are missing. The April Rust update for PC brings a number of major changes to the game, including access to a new train line system for how zip lines work, and maps of a certain size.
